"Big Ride" Through Gros Morne National Park
| April 24, 2012, Bicycle NL - Newfoundland and Labrador will host the inaugural Gros Morne GranFondo, a big ride for serious cyclists and fitness enthusiasts on Sunday September 2, 2012. Starting at Corner Brook City Hall, the ride will progress through Deer Lake, and along the Viking Trail, through Gros Morne National Park, ending in Rocky Harbour at the Lobster Head Cove lighthouse.

| March 17, 2012, Shooting NL - The Newfoundland and Labrador Shooting Association will host the ISSF 10-metre Air Rifle and Air Pistol Provincial Championships on the 24th of March starting at 8:45 a.m., at the MacMorran Community Centre.
