In April 2008, Sport Newfoundland and Labrador will recognize sporting excellence at the Stars and Legends Awards Gala. This inaugural event combines the Provincial Annual Awards and the Newfoundland and Labrador Sports Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony into one energetic evening of celebration as we unite hometown heroes and international icons.

The Stars and Legends Awards Gala will pay tribute to individuals and groups who have achieved extraordinary distinction in amateur or professional sports by inducting them into the Newfoundland and Labrador Sports Hall of Fame. We'll also celebrate individuals and teams across seven categories who have reached new levels of success in 2007.
