The following is being distributed at the request of Sport Newfoundland and Labrador:
NCCP Learn to Train Coaching Clinic
The NLBA will hold a Learn to Train Coaching Course on July 13th – 15th weekend in St. John's, MUN Campus. The course will run from 6:00pm-9:00pm on Friday; 9:00am-12:00pm and 2:00pm-5:00pm on Saturday; and 9:00am-12:00pm on Sunday.
This course is the replacement for the old Technical I and includes both Technical and Theory Components under the National Coaching Certification Program. The course will consist of 3 classroom sessions and 1 on court sessions. The cost for registration is $245.00, which includes the $100.00 for future evaluation, and the deadline to register is July 9th, 2018.
Coaches must be 16 years of age or older to be eligible to register. This course will be Paperless. Each participant will have to create an account on Canada Basketball’s “Game Plan” website to register and download the materials. It is each participant's responsibility to bring a laptop or other electronic devices to the coaching clinic to access the information.
